Optima Engineering believes strongly in the community in which it operates.  We encourage individual employee participation as well as participation on a company level.  In addition to donating financial gifts to various local programs, Optima also is involved with other local events.  Every year, we sponsor a Blood Drive for our clients, and have met or exceeded our goal the last several years for the units of blood donated.  We are also involved with ACE Mentoring, a national mentoring organization, at West Charlotte High School.  We hire local college engineering students in the summer, and have participated in several local high school internship programs, where a high school student actually works within our organization for several weeks.

We support the local USGBC Chapter as well as NC GreenPower and Clean Air Carolina.
