The 10,000 SF of computer raised floor required the removal of the existing single utility service and addition of dual 4000A utility services, 2-2000 kW generators and a system control cabinet with 3-300 kVA static UPS modules. A glycol loop was installed for cooling in the data center and mission critical areas with redundant computer room AC units and roof-top dry-coolers and pumps. An FM-200 fire extinguishing system and pre-action sprinkler system was installed in the data center as well as pre-action sprinkler systems in other mission critical areas. |

Hewitt Call Center, Charlotte, NC:
Converted approximately 170,000 SF of shell building space into a call center with a 3,500 SF Data Center. Installed 2-225 kVA static UPS modules for the Data Center. Installed 1-500 kVA static UPS module to provide an additional layer of redundancy for the Data Center as well as serve the Call Center.
The Data Center, associated HVAC and building HVAC are backed up by 2-1750 kW generators.
