“Green” buildings use sustainable design principles to improve the health and comfort of the buildings occupants while reducing the negative environmental impact of the building. If planned properly, green buildings may not be more expensive to build than non-green buildings, and will have lowered operating costs as a result of efficient use of energy and resources.
The goal of sustainable design efforts is to produce zero energy buildings which produce as much energy as they consume through energy efficient design and the use of renewable energy technologies.
As part of your collaborative team, Optima Engineering will work with you to achieve:
The crucial element of sustainable design is good planning.
